The IMPROVACUTER® Gel & Clot Activator Tubes is a 5ml evacuated blood collection tube with serum for applications in chemistry and serology testing. After centrifugation, the gel can effectively separate serum from blood cells, preventing substance exchange between blood cells and serum. This allows serum to be aspirated directly from the collection tube, without having to transfer to another container.
